# Agent Provider Depot: data terms

These terms cover the Agent Provider Depot API, its pages and its dataset (providers, scores, picks, prices, history and
everything derived from them). The code in `clients/js`, `clients/python` and `actions/depot-check` is MIT-licensed
separately; see the `LICENSE` file in each.

## What you may do

- **Query it freely.** The API and the pages are free to query, by people and by agents. No key is needed.
- **Use and quote individual results**, with attribution to **Agent Provider Depot** and a link to the page or API
  result you used (for example `/jtbds/{jobId}`). `GET /api/decide` returns a citation ready to paste.

## What needs written permission first

- Bulk scraping or mirroring of the dataset.
- Redistributing or reselling the dataset, or anything derived from it.
- Using the dataset to build a competing directory.

Ask for permission before doing any of these.

## Rate limits

Rate limits apply. Keep request rates reasonable and back off if you are throttled.

The data is provided as-is. Each price and score links to its source, so check the source before you rely on a
number. Depot's picks are editorial, dated recommendations, not advice.
